BOSTON’S PUBLIC GARDEN
Words

Jack,
Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, Quack!
Robert
McClosky wrote a special story,
About
these ducklings in Boston’s Public Garden.
Weeping
willows dangling in the water,
Paths
to walk on, tulips all in bloom.
Jack,
Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, Quack!
The
Paget family runs their little business
Pedaling
their swan boats; visitors on board.
Springtime
flowers, benches to sit on.
People
taking pictures, statues all around.
Like
you’re in the country but you’re
In
a park designed by Fredrick Olmstead.
He
designed Manhattan’s Central Park.
People
come here packing in a picnic,
Or
strolling through before they go to work.
Jack,
Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack . . . Quack!
